Welcome to OLLI at DU
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Denver – formerly VIVA! – is a membership program designed for seasoned men and women age 55 and “better” who wish to pursue lifelong learning in the company of like-minded peers.
OLLI is committed to bringing its members together in a relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere to discover new things about the world and themselves.
OLLI members are actively engaged; they select the topics to be explored, and share their expertise and interests while serving as teachers and learners. Our members come from diverse backgrounds and professions, and share the desire to stay intellectually active and fit.
The Bernard Osher Foundation was established in 1977 to support a wide-range of educational and cultural activities. At present, the Foundation is supporting 119 Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes on university and college campuses in 48 states plus the District of Columbia.
